Licensing of CBM

Free-of-charge period of using

CBM is fee-paying software. However there is a free-of-charge period of using CBM for introducing with the possibilities of it. Period of free-of-charge using is limited not to time, but by amount of successful attempts of the saving process execution . The amount of successful attempts does not depend on amount of Cache' servers used and equal to 5. After reaching indicated amount CBM will cease working and will output the appropriate message on a console.

Licensing

CBM will service only those of Cache' servers which license data are brought in the registry of serviced servers in CBM configuration file. CBM obtains the license data from local Cache' License or from the License server serving given Cache' server.

Key Ordering

To order a license activation key of CBM after the expiration of free-of-charge using period you should take from a Cache' License key and send to JSC “Inform Iks” the following data:

CustomerName
OrderNumber
Cache' License Type (Enterprise, Corporate, Department, Entree, Elite etc.)

On the basis of these data we shall generate and send to you the activation key, which you then add to the list of CBM keys. After that the servers, serviced by Cache' License, from which were taken CustomerName and OrderNumber, will be serviced by CBM too.
Previously you should make payment for the software.

Price List

CBM price depends on Cache' License Type for which the CBM activation key is produced. CBM price depends also on amount of CBM activation keys already ordered. Price List is given below. Prices are in US dollars.

Update is free. Technical support payments are not required.

The Responsibility

Inform Iks Company guarantees correct operation of the Cache' Backup Manager functions declared and no more. In particular, Inform Iks does not carry out the responsibility for data loss caused by incorrect of Cache' or the operating system work. Inform Iks also does not carry out the responsibility if incorrect CBM’s operation is caused by problems with the operating system. In case of problem detection while in service, Inform Iks Company guarantees program code correction during 7 working days or consultation on finding paths of a problem solution during 2 working days.
