Cache' Backup Manager (CBM) is designed for saving Cache' databases in user’s defined time schedule. At a signal time there will be a start of Backup utility on a specified Cache' server.

System Requirements

It is necessary to say, that Cache' Backup Manager hasn’t any special algorithms for saving Cache' databases, but it is a scheduler, which runs system code designed by InterSystems Company on Cache' server. That’s why Cache' server should be available for Cache' Direct connections (Vism) to the given moment of time. You should setup it for correct CBM’s work on a machine with Windows* OS and Cache' Client previously installed. You can find Cache' Client in Cache' distribution kit.
Supported client platforms for CBM are Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP.
Supported Cache' Server versions are 3.*, 4.*, 5* on every OS Cache' is supported by.

CBM Trial Version

The utility is supplied with the convenient hint to make easier customizing it to a necessary mode of operation.
Initially CBM is distributed in a trial mode. After obtaining CBM you can make 5 backups of various sort on the different Cache' Servers. Then the execution of backups will be stopped.
